“Scales are for fish, they tell you how you are allowed to feel each day.”

Stretching improves your flexibility and physical activity. It helps with blood circulation, muscle repair, and decreases the likelihood of injury.
Remember, stretching is not a warm-up but part of a warm-up. It includes 4 components: General warm-up (e.g. 6 minute walk on treadmill), Static Stretching (gentle stretches), Activity-Specific warm-ups (10 minute drills to prepare the body for the activity you’re about to do), Dynamic Stretching (movements that copy the activity for which you are warming up.)
